EPW - Roux, hour repeater, hour striking clockwatch, verge fusee time train with second going barrel train for strike, 50mm, approximately 14K rose and green gold (tested) OF original consular case with bell for striking, bell not removed to inspect for possible case markings, case rear with engraved perimeter pierced for sound transmission, touch button on pendant for activation of repeat function, white enamel dial with winding aperture at 3:30, strike winding aperture at 8:30, matching gold-tipped blued steel spade hands, KWKS, verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, no visible s#. Gross weight of assembled watch 62.7 dwt (97.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good repeat function and good clockwatch function, good strike tone apart from some rattle, slide outside of dial at 7:30 with no evident function, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered scratches and fine scratches, visible surface of bell with a scratch from central screw toward edge adjacent pendant, bell with some lesser scratches and fine scratches elsewhere; dial with fractured segment that has been secured with adhesive adjacent strike winding aperture, scattered hls elsewhere, some small flakes around winding apertures, small edge chips at 12 and 7; excellent hands; case shows light wear, some scratches to edge around opening area, shallow dent just left of center rear, ding below and left of center rear; tight bow; good domed glass crystal.
